Antique Cameras

So being the photography nerd that I am, I bought two old vintage cameras…
The first one I bought was a No. 1A Autographic Kodak Jr. These were produced between 1914-1927 for the high-end price of $21.00. The body is made of wood with leather covering and leather bellows that fold out. The condition of this...

New Years Party 2009!!

The beginning of 2009 called for a little celebration… La Jolla style. My baby sister Jessica and four of her friends decided to take a college road trip down the coast of California for the winter break. She started at her college in Humbolt (hippies), drove down the coast, stayed in LA for a few...

Misha - Those are some nice looking snack cups!

Ah, southern California. Where the gorgeous girls are drawn to the hot tub like bees on honey.

I noticed a slight rounding of the picture corners. Is that technique done when the picture is taken or after?February 10, 2009 – 6:26 PM

Jeremy - The vignetting in the pictures in an intentional post-production edit. Many of my pictures have them naturally though. When I used to do a lot of black and white film work I would use a lot of filters which would always give me a vignette. I still love my polarizer filter too which gives me the same effect. I guess I just keep putting it for consistency.February 11, 2009 – 1:32 PM

Back in Los Gatos: One Pizza… One Donkey… One Beer…

It’s just after Thanksgiving, and I found myself back in my hometown of Los Gatos where I was “born a poor black child” (what movie was that from?). I met up with some of my old friends from high school in downtown Los Gatos for what was suppose to be a “quick” drink at Carry...

Sara France - I personally like all the licking shots myself. :) January 15, 2009 – 6:47 PM

Katie - Wow…To think Popov taught me how to flip people off. *Sigh* Really, I’ve come so far. Except I still hate my pick being taken- just recently I was out with friends and all the pics I pretty much am just sticking my tongue out. Sorry, I’m just shy! It was great to see everyone over break!January 15, 2009 – 11:07 PM

Alex - I seem to be overly excited at the prospect of being licked. I was also promised there would be donkeys…

Here are some more pix from that evening: http://gallery.me.com/alexpachikov#100255January 31, 2009 – 4:41 PM

Jeremy - Thanks for the pictures Alex. That was a great night. The pictures you took from the top of Donkey hill make it look like we are sitting in the middle of a snow storm. Too bad those are just little flowers on the ground, a snow storm would have been a better story.February 2, 2009 – 5:21 PM

The 2008 young family reunion was held from August 10 to August 14 in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California. Family came from all over including both sides of California, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio, Washington, and Canada. I could not begin to describe how fun this experience was and how fortunate I am to have such as...
